1. Shun Lee Palace in Midtown is fine Chinese food fit for a king. It's a veteran place with a top notch wait staff who are all business. The duck is the best I've tasted.
2. Rosa Mexicano near the Lincoln Center is a stylish restaurant serving mexican cuisine with its own twist. The selection of margaritas is the best in NYC. Make sure you experience the guacamole made fresh at your table.
3. Opened in 1897 at the corner of Spring and Mott in Little Italy, Lombardi's has been designated as America's first pizza parlor. NYC city offers some amazing pizza joints and Lombardi's is among the best. The smoky-crust is the genius of this pizza and the fresh signature toppings of fresh tomatoes and mozzarella keep its customers returning for more. Probably the best pizza in the United States. Get there early or plan to wait. Bring cash, no CC's accepted. I can't wait to go back.
